This report provides health statistics on Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander within the United States and is drawn from three primary sources: the National Health Interview Survey (2005 to 2008), the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS) of the CDC (2008), and the national, school-based Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS). Three broad areas covered include: Health Care Access, NHPI Adult Health, and NHPI Childhood and Adolescent Health.
